  个人简历:

  罗蓉教授是国家首批“青年千人计划”入选者,科技部创新人才推进计划“中青年科技创新领军人才”。现任武汉理工大学交通学院教授、博士生导师,并担任美国土木工程师协会学术期刊《土木工程材料》副主编、美国交通运输研究委员会技术委员会委员等学术职务。

  罗蓉教授长期从事道路沥青路面结构与材料研究。主持了国家“973计划”青年科学家项目、国家自然科学基金、交通运输部建设科技项目、湖北省科技支撑计划项目等多项科研项目。提出了沥青混合料中水气扩散的理论模型;发展了沥青混合料无损粘弹性质及损伤性质的试验方法;建立了道路沥青与集料表面能数据库,已直接应用于湖北省多条高速公路,创造了显著的社会经济效益。在美国学习和工作期间,主持及参与了由美国联邦公路局、美国公路合作研究计划、美国德克萨斯州交通厅、美国西南地区大学交通中心资助的10多项科研项目。在道路工程领域的国际一流期刊上发表SCI论文40多篇,参加国际学术大会并做学术报告60余次。于2012年被聘为“湖北省特聘专家”,2015年被授予“湖北省三八红旗手”荣誉称号,2016年获得“湖北青年五四奖章”,并入选“交通运输青年科技英才”。
